Uzbekistan Hotel, Tashkent

I liked everything. Location, room, breakfast. The interiors are slightly tired, but the price is reasonable.
The room has everything you need. One thing I still can't figure out is why the air conditioner won't turn off.

I don't know about this hotel, but I really liked it!!! There may be something not new or outdated in it, but these are such small things for those people who want to get only positive things from their trip! The hotel was built during the Soviet era, but it symbolizes that Soviet beauty and monumentality! This is the hallmark of the city, located in a very convenient location, the hotel offers a beautiful panorama of Tashkent. The view from the window, however, slightly hides the decorative ornament of the exterior cladding of the hotel, but this is its charm and recognition! I wish the well-being of the staff of this hotel, and the hotel itself only further prosperity! I will always return to it with pleasure!!!

Decent hotel for the price! We arrived in the middle of the night and had quick access to the room! The room is a little old but comfortable, and above all very spacious! Spacious bathroom also, a little outdated but clean! The only real problem is the noise of what seems to be a nightclub in the hotel grounds!Breakfast is light, no fruit juice, no fresh fruit! Bread a little dry!But for the price it was correctOther important detail, there is a currency exchange office in the entrance of the hotel near the breakfast room , but the schedules are curious!

The Uzbekistan Hotel is, without a doubt, the reference accommodation that you should have in Tashkent if you want to live the authentic experience of the Soviet era. The building is one of the best examples of Soviet brutalism, you can be looking at it for hours. Regarding the rooms, part of the hotel is renovated and the other still retains that magnificent Soviet essence (we were lucky enough to have one of those rooms). The service is correct, with its 24/7 reception and possibility of early check-in. If you hire breakfast, it is forceful and varied, perfect to face a day of walking around the capital with strength. And, a strong point to keep in mind, it has a 24/7 bar-lounge with very affordable prices, such as 0.5L of Sarbast beer on tap for 25,000 som (€1.80).

Hotel Uzbekistan is an impressive hotel known for its iconic architecture and welcoming atmosphere. The hotel offers a memorable experience for travelers looking to explore the beauty, culture, and history of Uzbekistan. Its distinctive design and convenient setting make it an attractive choice for visitors. The overall ambiance is pleasant, making it a great place to relax after a day of sightseeing and exploring the city. Whether you're visiting for business or leisure, Hotel Uzbekistan is worth considering for a memorable stay. Highly recommended for travelers who appreciate unique architecture and a touch of local charm!

Advantages: Location is perfect, it is close to everything you may need. The hotel is always busy with tourists. Breakfast was nice. Staff are helpful and kind. Room was very clean. WiFi was good.

Heartfelt Thanks to Mr. Otabek

On September 29, I accidentally left my bag at Tashkent Airport. Mr. Otabek, a front desk staff member at the hotel, kindly helped me during this stressful situation. He even called the airport on my behalf to inquire about my bag.

I have now safely returned to Japan, and I would like to express my sincere gratitude for his kindness and support.

Mr. Otabek is a wonderful front desk staff member and a great asset to your hotel.

Thank you so much, Mr. Otabek! I will never forget your kindness.

Advantages: We liked the location. It was near a metro station. We liked the spacious room. Disadvantages: Nothing. Unfortunately we had to leave early and could not therefore sample the breakfast.

Advantages: Impressive building. Easy and quick transfer from the airport (organised by the hotel).
Massive room, which was spotlessly clean with extremely comfortable bed.
Fantastic position close to museums, metro, restaurants and parks.
I was very impressed with the hotel comfort.
Excellent buffet breakfast.
Very cheap prices in the bar.

Good afternoon! Everything was fine. What I liked: the luggage storage and the exchange office in the hotel are excellent! Breakfast is excellent!
The refrigerator does not defrost in the absence of the client - well done!!! Convenient!

But it is necessary to make a few comments. I will not make them on websites, there is no reason to "take out the trash from the hut" ...
1. During breakfast, used dishes are slowly removed from the tables. If the hotel maintains an atmosphere of Soviet service, add a playful poster: I've eaten, take the dishes off the table! That's what we were doing...
2. There's a very slippery tray in the shower (room 501), so we had to be careful.
3. There was no wifi in the room. Absolutely! He was great in the hallway outside the door.
4. Is it possible to fix the doors: the entrance and the door to the toilet are scratching on the floor.

I understand that the comments can only be eliminated during the overhaul...But they can be taken into account in the future...

Good luck! May Uzbekistan prosper!!!

Stayed 4 nights 25-29 September. Huge hotel, but found everything to work well, room great, breakfast was very good despite having to share tables with others due to lack of room. Was also lucky to experience a large Uzbek wedding reception being held there

The hotel is nice, and the most important thing is in the center!! All attractions are within walking distance! Polite staff. Special thanks to Ilham, he is very attentive, always ready to help! I recommend

Advantages: Excellent hotel, excellent breakfasts, attentive and caring staff. Wonderful residents of Tashkent. Honor and respect to all! Thanks! Disadvantages: I liked everything!

A very interesting place to stay. The building itself is enough of an attraction with its 1970s Soviet vibe. But the services are all there, rooms are good and staff are generally as helpful as they can be (but thankfully without the faux exaggerated service politeness of other venues). My favourite part of the stay was checking out and girl at reception says "You should pay!" to which I laughingly replied "and thats why I'm here". Location is superb too. Highly recommend it

A majestic hotel with an old tradition of hospitality. Convenient location of the hotel , near the metro , pedestrian street , historical sites . The rooms are decorated with red velvet , curtains, Soviet-era furniture, and it gives color and comfort ! We need to stop here 😍👌
